The Seattle Foundation’s annual GiveBig event is May 3rd. It’s a one day, online giving event that allows donors to direct their giving to a favorite charity and have their donation “stretched” by funds from the foundation. While not a one-for-one match, giving on this day via GiveBig, does make your donation go further.
Here’s what you need to know:
- You can pay off your 2015/16 annual fund balance or “pre-pay” your 2016/17 balance.
- You can donate to Fund-a-Need and help renovate the kitchen in Egan Hall.
- You can donate to the school endowment–we are almost to our goal of 1 million dollars.
- If you have an annual fund pledge on file, watch for an e-mailed statement with your 2015/16 remaining balance and a link to the foundation website.
- Donations need to be received via the Seattle Foundation website between midnight to midnight on May 3, 2016.
- OR you can schedule your donation beginning April 18.
- You must donate via the Seattle Foundation website
- Donations will be stretched depending on the “pool” of gifts received that day–up to $2,500 per gift!
