We are fortunate to have the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle this summer. Athletes from all across the country have been preparing over the last four years for this event, and we want to be there to support them. The Archdiocese of Seattle is coordinating this effort for all schools in the region. There are many opportunities for individuals and families to participate in. One event that families will especially enjoy volunteering for together is the Opening Ceremonies, Cheer Line for the Parade of Athletes – a mile-long stretch where you can wave signs and cheer for the athletes – then on to the Games at UW Husky Stadium!
