New Year’s Resolution – resolve to:
- Notice new stop signs!
- New stop signs have been placed on 79th Street and 1st Avenue NW for the east/west traffic. North/south is a free-through. Please be careful whichever direction you travel. This is a very congested space, especially during drop off and pick up times.
- Be mindful of neighborhood needs
- Do make sure driveways are not blocked. Parking too close to driveways limits neighbors’ access to their homes.
- Do leave sufficient space between the corners/crosswalks and your car. Parking too close to corners and crosswalks blocks the vision of drivers, limiting their ability to see clearly the students crossing.
- Review the attached traffic map. Do observe during drop off and pick up times.
