Student Educational Adventures

As of Wednesday, all middle school students are away having special experiences, traditional for this time of year:

  • Grade 8 students travel to Washington, D.C. each Spring and hit the ground running, visiting historic sites and learning about our government and history of our nation.
  • Grade 7 students learn about our beautiful State of Washington, touring our State Capitol, Grand Coulee Dam, and much more.
  • Grade 6 students head to Camp Hamilton for Environmental Science Camp, led by Mr. Sven Tice and Ms. Meg Sullivan.

Students in grades 6 and 7 really “lucked out” with the weather for their adventures.  Our 8th graders have been experiencing some east coast lightning storms – making things even more exciting!  Environmental Science Camp and the Washington State Tour are part of the curriculum; the tour of Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas is an optional educational adventure.
