  • Living Wax Museum      Students in sixth grade will celebrate the end of their Ancient Greece unit by presenting a Living Wax Museum. Come see gods, goddesses, philosophers, poets, and soldiers come to life, and learn a bit more about Greek culture. The museum will take place in Egan Hall, Wednesday, June 6, 2-3pm.
  • Summer Solution workbooks have arrived. They were sent home with students today. Please check your students backpacks for the books.
  • From the Playground     As the school year draws to a close, it’s time to thank a group of intrepid volunteers who have braved the elements, monitored bouncy children confined to classrooms for inside recess, shown care for scraped knees and elbows, compassion for bruised egos and helped your children problem solve troubled friendships, rules of the game and all things in between. My job has been immeasurably enhanced by their cheerful and reliable attention to their duties. Please add your thanks to mine for a year of service to – Ryan Bishman, Lisa Boucher, Sarah Burt, Julie Clark, Venetia Halsey, Marilyn Hanley, Maggie Kineman, Peter Kithene, Aimee LaMarch, Jenny Lee, Christine Lewis, Glorilyn Maw, Andrea Marquez, Chris McCormack, Geeta McCormack, Erin Murphy, Mike O’Brien, Liz Overland, Patrick Owens, Paula Pessner, Shalini Pereira, Milana Richardson, Ana Santos, Keely Schoonover, Robin Sheridan, Anita Souza, Veronica Wellnitz. My hat is off to you all!!! Catherine Dahlgren, Our Lady of Perpetual Asphalt.    To all who are reading this, please consider volunteering for playground duty in the next school year. This is a very rewarding ministry you can give to the children and our school. You can reach me through SignupGenius or at floribunda51@yahoo.com for more information.
