Merry Christmas!

The joy and hope we prayed about on Gaudete Sunday and on Monday is so tangible throughout the school this week. The children sang it out at the Christmas Program on Tuesday evening and I listened this morning as Cantionis practiced for Christmas Eve. The students are also delighting in being St. Nick and the gifts and cards to the homebound and those in need are being delivered. Speaking of gifts, thank you, parents, for making our Christmas merry and bright. Your gifts of Scrip and so much more are very appreciated by the teachers, staff and me.

Here are more notes of appreciation! Bishop Blanchet students were given the opportunity to recognize middle school teachers who helped prepare them for success. Mr. Thomas, Mr. Tice and Mr. Stinebrickner (Mr. S.) were among those honored by Bishop Blanchet High School with Inspirational Teacher Awards in thanks for the work put forth in preparing students for the academic challenges of high school. We congratulate and thank them and all the hard-working teachers!

May the wonder, love, joy, and blessings of Christmas fill your hearts!
