Archdiocese of Seattle, Immunization Requirement, SY 2020/2021

Washington State and the Archdiocese of Seattle have updated the immunization requirements for the upcoming 20/21 school year.  From the Archdiocese of Seattle, Catholic Schools Department:

Every student enrolled in a Level 1 Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Seattle shall be immunized against vaccine-preventable diseases caused by infectious agents in accordance with the immunization schedule adopted by the Washington State Department of Health Services. The only exception to the foregoing requirements for students in our Catholic schools is a medical exemption signed by a licensed physician (M.D., N.D., D.O., ARNP, or PA) authorized to practice in the State of Washington, including the physician’s license number.

The policy goes into effect for all students, PK through Grade 12, beginning on January 1, 2020.  Students must show evidence of vaccination by September 2020.  Medical exemptions are allowed with a State form on file.
