Blessing of the Animals on St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day     The St. Francis of Assisi ministry and the St. John Girl Scout Troop #44091 are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Blessing of the Animals, held on the Feast of St. Francis, Sunday, October 4, at 12:30pm in the St. John schoolyard.  Bring your pets to be blessed by Father Crispin near the statue of Mary.  All humans must be masked and be prepared to socially distance themselves from others.  All pets need to be well behaved and be either leashed or carried in a pet carrier.   The Girl Scouts will also be collecting donations for the Seattle Humane Society at this event.

Volunteers Needed!     During these unprecedented times, many of our fellow parishioners who have faithfully assisted in the liturgy have been sidelined because they, or someone in their household, are in the high-risk category.  As a result, we are desperately shorthanded and need your help.  We need volunteers in every ministry including ushers, eucharistic ministers, sacristans, and lectors.  No previous experience is required; training is provided.  Please contact Joe Sullivan, Liturgy Committee Chair at joe.sullivan1020@gmail.com, if you would like to serve at liturgy or learn more.

Public Masses     Seattle is approved for Phase 2.  We can now have public Masses with limited capacity.  Reservations are required to attend Mass – visit the Parish Mass Reservation page here.
