Registration Calling all St. John students in grades PreK-3, especially students in grades 2 and 3! St. John/Al Happy Feet/Future Legends Spring Soccer League registration is open! This league is a closed league for St. John and St. Alphonsus students. Since it is our own league, we are able to organize the teams and keep our students in their cohort groups. Schedule The program will run from April 25-June 6 (skipping May 30 for Memorial Day) and will follow the same pattern that the St. John/Al PreK/K League has followed, with one hour of coaching and games played on Sunday between 10am-3pm at Sandel Park (behind Fred Myer in Greenwood).
Cohort/Teams and Equipment Each cohort will be kept on the same field matching your child’s school cohort, with every effort for 2nd and 3rd grade genders to play separately. For PreK, we are able to offer two cohorts: one for AM and one for PM children. School rules will be in effect, such as masks required. Shin guards are required, and cleats are generally standard and preferred.
Volunteers Each cohort will need to have at least one consistent parent volunteer to help with logistics during the weekly sessions. For questions or to volunteer please email MattBonDurant@yahoo.com (St. John Soccer Coordinator). Please include your child’s grade and cohort in your email.
