Principal’s Letter

It was such a festive week! From skiers and hockey players to snowflake headbands and elf ears, everyone is feeling jolly! The festive dress did not distract students from reflecting quietly in church during reconciliation. Fr. Crispin and Fr. Angelovic were pleased with the children’s reverence and prayerful ways.

We continue the celebration this evening as the primary students lead us into break with caroling and Christmas cheer. Thank you Mrs. Villanueva and teachers. The teachers and I are so proud of them; their joy reminds us of the light in the Christmas season. Let us look forward to Sunday when we light the final candle of Advent.

Remember, tomorrow’s Holiday Spirit Week theme is “Christmas comfy” with free dress, and we will dismiss at noon! Tomorrow is also the last day to donate to our Unbound ministry. Thank you to those students who brought gifts today to add to the collection that supports our global classmates. I want to also acknowledge all the gifts of time you have contributed to supporting the school this school year. Your commitment to the mission allows the school to prosper in ways that are immeasurable.

As I write the last Principal’s Letter for 2022*, I wish you Nollaig shona, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year filled with love, laughter and health.
