Families not completing this requirement for Fair Share will be moved to out of parish tuition status. Ministry Fair, November 21 and 22 after all Masses Ministry representatives will be on hand to answer questions and explain the various ways you can become more involved in your spiritual community. “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 PT. 4:10). Wine and cheese will be served after Saturday’s 5pm Mass; Pancake Breakfast will be served by Knights of Columbus after 8:30 and 10:30 Masses, Sunday, November 22. Goodwill donation; proceeds benefit the Girl Scouts.
The Environment Committee is looking for volunteers to help prepare for Advent over the Thanksgiving weekend. All activities will take place in the church. If you would like to help please email stjohndecorating@gmail.com.
Make an Advent Wreath! Sunday, November 29, after 10:30 Mass, come to Egan Hall. All supplies will be provided to make a beautiful advent wreath, and hot cider, cookies and Christmas music will get you into the season. Small crafts will be available for the young ones. The Liturgy Commission is looking for a volunteer to coordinate the Children’s Christmas masses on Christmas Eve (4pm and 6pm services). This is a joyous opportunity to work with our children and something that can be done on your own time, any time.
