To keep your child’s mind, body, and spirit active, St. John teachers are offering students an opportunity to continue making growth over the summer toward our school-wide learning expectations. Ideas for grade-appropriate activities are below. Try one activity per category (mind, body, spirit) each week. Summer Solutions
“Summer slide” or learning loss over the summer months puts students at a serious disadvantage. Summer Solutions workbooks help students return to school after the summer holiday confident in the skills they’ve already learned and ready to master new ones.

ILX Math for Students in Grades 2-5
St. John School has used IXL to reinforce our math curriculum this year, and your child will continue to have access to the online program over the summer. With thousands of interactive skills, IXL is
a fun way for your child to keep their learning fresh. Students in grades 2-5 received an informational handout that included their unique log-in credentials at the end of the school year. Information about IXL can be found here.
