St. John Catholic School is a strong, vibrant, and welcoming community. We value Catholic moral teachings, embrace diversity, and inspire academic excellence. Our focus is on educating the whole child, encouraging students to achieve, persevere, and serve others. This mission is accomplished through a collaborative partnership with parents, guardians, and St. John the Evangelist Parish.

The K-8 School Program is rooted in our Schoolwide Learning Expectations. These guiding principles encourage all students to be Christ-Centered, Active Learners, and Empowered Disciples.

Educational Philosophy

  • Our teachers employ curricular and instructional approaches designed to maximize each student’s potential. We emphasize a growth mindset, curiosity, and perseverance in all our teaching practices.
  • We guide students toward developing self-advocacy skills, personal responsibility, and meaningful engagement with both local and global ministries.
  • Our rigorous academics are complemented by community service learning, instilling a sense of responsibility and empathy in our students.
  • The school embraces neurodivergent thinkers. Our differentiated, Universal Design curriculum, alongside our robust Student Support team, challenges all students to grow and reach their full potential.
