Integral Ecology: Pope Francis and Planetary Thinking – February 4, 2016, 7pm, Pigott Auditorium, Seattle University

Keynote lecture by Christiana Peppard, Ph.D., Fordham University; panel discussion with Wesley Lauer, Ph.D., Director of Environmental Science at Seattle University and Christina Roberts, Ph.D., Professor of English and Program Director of Women and Gender Studies at Seattle University. Drawing insight from Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si‘, speakers will discuss local and international issues of water accessibility and indigenous rights, and will examine the rhetoric we use to raise awareness and call for action.
