Robotics Extravaganza Report – For the second year running, St. John School was recognized with the “Sophisticated Use of Programming” award at the Catholic Schools Robotics Extravaganza. This year our entry participated in a sumo robot tournament with five robots competing to detect and push each other out of the sumo ring. Congratulations to 8th grade students, Manoli T., Nick C., Evan M., and Andrew A. for their undefeated winning sumo robot, “MLG Bot.” Here are some photos from the event including the St. John entry.
