All three Manley kids got their love of running while attending St. John and participating in the CYO Cross Country Program. Coach John O’Leary (former St. John PE teacher and current men’s coach at Bishop Blanchet) coached Kellen ’10 from kindergarten through 12th grade! Kellen currently runs Cross Country and Track for Gonzaga University. He has qualified and will be competing in the 3000m Steeplechase at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional Championship at the University of Kansas May 27th.
Younger siblings, Kate ’15, and Clare ’12, both run for Bishop Blanchet High School. Kate has qualified to run as an alternate in the 4×400 relay in the District Championship next week. Claire placed 4th at Metros in the 3200m earning her a spot at the District meet as well.
