The Oktoberfest party to benefit the school endowment was a huge success! We are still collecting donations, but it looks like we will be able to add more than $57K to the endowment fund bringing us extremely close to the 1 million mark. Although the balance in the fund fluctuates with the market, it should be in the the range of $960K with the additional donations. If you missed the event and would still like to give, please send your donation to the school office.
Thank you to all who attended and volunteered to make the event possible. We welcomed over 250 people including young graduates and alumni parents. Guests enjoyed amazing food from Bitterroot BBQ, A La Mode Pies, and Kaffeeklatsch. Thank you to Kevin McAfee for the fresh pretzels and to St. John Chef, Michael Strimban, for the house made brats, sauerkraut and sides. We had several beer vendors donate their product. Thank you to the Herron family (DruBru), the Willison family (North Coast Brewing), St. John Dads Robb Mapp & Jonathan Cooper (NorSea), Schilling Cider, and Fremont Brewing.
