Confirmation Forty-five young people will be confirmed at St. John tonight, May 25th at 7pm in the Church! All are welcome to see visiting Bishop Peter Smith of Portland Archdiocese seal our Confirmandi with the Holy Spirit. The Confirmandi currently attend high schools from all over North Seattle including Bishop Blanchet, Holy Names, O’Dea, Ballard, Seattle Academy, Lakeside, Seattle Preparatory, Ingraham. Please include these young people in your prayers as they prepare for this wonderful sacrament.
Wedding Coordinator Do you love the movie 27 Dresses? Do you subscribe to The New York Times just for the “Vows” column? Sounds like you love weddings! We here at St. John the Evangelist have been booking more weddings than in years past and are in need of another wedding coordinator! This is a stipended position, involving helping ensure that the rehearsal goes smoothly and the Big Day goes without a hitch! Responsibilities include attending the rehearsal and working with the engaged couple on specifics of the ceremony such as the procession, music, and attendants as well as attending the wedding to ensure that all goes well!
