- Migrant Mission Trip St. John the Evangelist Parish will be joining Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue, for a mission trip to Skagit Valley. We will be spending the week learning about the migrants’ lives in this corner of Washington State. All students who attend will combine a week of service with reflection about servanthood. - 2nd Annual Parish Gardening Party Saturday, June 10 from 10am – 2:30pm Come for as long as you can. Please join the Garden Club to help us clean up the gardens around St John. We will provide lunch. Bring your own gloves and any personal garden tools you like to use. Please email Steven at sdamelio@st-johnschool.org to let him know you are coming so that we can get a count for lunch.
- Vacation Bible Camp Teachers from St. John School will host Vacation Bible Camp August 14-18, from 9am to 2pm at St. John School. St. John teachers will be presenting this opportunity to learn more about saints in “Set sail with St. Patrick!” Children ages 5 through 10 are welcome. The cost of this event will be $50 for each student. Scholarships are available. Details and registration forms will be distributed in the back of the Church and on request from Sheila Connolly at sconnolly@st-johnschool.org.
- Habitat for Humanity Camp Current high school students going into junior and senior year will be welcome to travel to Yakima June 25-29, to help build housing for low income residents. We will be working together and staying in a church building. The cost of this trip is $200 per person. Scholarships are available. Sheila Connolly will be one of the chaperones.
