  • Eighth-grade students attended an exhibit sponsored by Doctors Without Borders, intended to give a sense of the realities experienced by refugees. The exhibit, Forced From Home will be on display at South Lake Union, Discovery Center through Sunday, October 8.  There is no admission fee; goodwill donations accepted.
  • Opportunity to work at Bishop Blanchet High School – PT Food Service    Duties: Cooking and preparing food items, serving students during both lunches, restocking, dish washing, end of the day cleaning. This is a part-time position perfect for a parent with school aged children who wants to work while their children are in school. Three hours per day, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.   • Opportunity to work with Seattle Public Schools at Greenwood Elementary!     Greenwood Elementary is looking to fill positions for tutors!  Tutors can work with all grades – either one-to-one or with small groups – supporting students and teachers in reading and math.  Tutors work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for up to 19 hours per week.
