We are proud to announce that the St. Al / St. John Cross Country team topped off another fun and successful season with a First Place finish in the AAA Division of CYO last week. Fantastic participation from 75 of our young runners (Kindergarten through 3rd grade) put us in the lead in the “Ribbon Run” two weeks ago, and in the Championship Meet last week a solid performance from our 4th through 8th graders added to that, with stellar races in every grade and group.
Out of more than 100 students in most races, our top finishers in each grade were:

- 4th grade girls – Pearl S. (1st)
- 5th grade boys – David S-M. (7th)
- 5th grade girls – Brooklyn W. (1st), Hope L. D. (4th)
- 6th grade boys – Rory B. (7th)
- 6th grade girls – Greta F. (7th)
- 7th grade boys – Louis S. (4th)
- 7th grade girls – Willow G. (13th)
- 8th grade boys – Charlie M. (3rd), Jonathan F. (8th)
- 8th grade girls – Margaret E. (26th)
