WATT (Women Advancing Tomorrow’s Technologists) Club begins! WATT is a student-led, non-profit organization based in the Seattle area. The aim of WATT is to introduce computer science and logical thinking ideas to young girls in order to give them experience in a field that they may wish to pursue in the future. WATT Club is for girls in grades five and six, 6 sessions will be held on Thursdays, (3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 4/12, and 4/19). Students will explore website design and building. There is no fee for this offering, however, we ask participants to please consider a $5 donation to cover snacks. Space is limited to 20 participants.
