Did you know that 529 Education Savings Plans can now be used to pay for K-12 education—including Catholic school tuition? Changes approved in the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act extend the use of 529 Education Savings Plans—traditionally meant to cover college or other post-high school education and training costs—can now be used for approved K-12 education expenses. The Fulcrum Foundation is working with the Office for Catholic Schools to develop tools and guidance for schools and parents on this issue.
