  • Calling all students in grades 5 – 8     You can be an “angel!” Altar serving is interesting, good for the soul, and crucial to the parish. New servers may choose one of three one-hour trainings: September 18, 25 and 27, at 3:05pm.  We will meet in the courtyard by the statue of Mary.  Link here to register for training.
  • Questions About the Catholic Faith? Seeking Answers About the Church? Our Door is Open!     On the second Wednesday of each month,  Julia Rudden, Director of Sacramental Preparation meets with those interested in learning more about Catholicism, about the church, and about the faith. The meetings are casual, with plenty of time for questions and discussion, and are open to all!  The next meeting is Wednesday, September 12, 7pm, in the new Administration Building (former Rectory).  Check out our website for more information about RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) Questions?   • The Stations of the Cross is a Lenten devotion that offers witness to Jesus’ Passion and Death. At each station, we use our senses and our imagination to reflect prayerfully upon Jesus’ suffering, Death, and Resurrection, and to simply experience the visual images to reflect on Christ’s love for us.   • It’s time to register for First Communion Preparation!      Click here to register. We begin with a prayer service on Monday, September 24, at 7pm in the church.
  • North Seattle Catholic Youth     Two great events to put on your calendars!
    • Fun Jump Celebration: Students in grade 6-12 are invited to jump around in the Kid Zone of the Bite of Broadview Festival for FREE and enjoy some ice cream to celebrate the start of the school year on Saturday, September 29, 8pm to 10pm, Christ the King, Bite of Broadway Festival.
    • Family Worship Night:     Led by the band, Refining Worship students in grades 6-12 and their families are invited to kick off NSCY’s new year and worship God, learn more about the ministries, enjoy fellowship and a meal. Sunday, October 7, 5pm to 7pm, St. Catherine Parish, 814 NE 85th St., Seattle.
