Part Time Job Available St. John School is in need of a Crossing Guard. The position is for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon, covering arrival and dismissal of students. The station is the crossing on 80th and 1st Ave. Pay is $16.50 to start. This is a vital position that can bring a lot of joy! Please contact Ms. O’Leary if you are interested. Babysitter Training Saturday, February 2, 2019, 12:30pm to 4:30pm, Phinney Center Blue Building. Gain the knowledge and skills to be a safe, confident babysitter. Learn about infant and child care, age appropriate toys, safety and injury prevention and how to handle emergencies. Find out what parents expect and practice hands-on skills. Includes in-depth coverage of First Aid, Infant/Child CPR, and how to be safe at home alone while sitting.
Students receive a Child and Babysitting Safety handbook at the end of class. Instructor Ken Norris, a 26-year veteran of the Seattle Fire Department, has taught CPR for 15 years. Register early!
