  • Mark your calendars!  The Knights of Columbus are hosting a fish fry on Sunday, April 7, at 5pm in Egan Hall. Please, come enjoy some fish & chips and fellowship, and support good works being done in your community.  Cost – your goodwill donation.  All proceeds benefit Catholic Community Services and projects supported by Knights of Columbus, such as rosaries for First Communicants.
  • 2019 Seattle Camino de Santiago     Join us on Saturday, April 13, for a mini-pilgrimage. We begin with a light breakfast snack at St. John at 8:15am, then pray Stations of the Cross in the Church at 9am.  We then make our pilgrimage to say Stations of the Cross at Blessed Sacrament, St. Patrick, St. Joseph, and Immaculate Conception churches, St. Ignatius’ Chapel at Seattle University, ending at St. James Cathedral around 1pm.  Our transportation will include about 2.5 hours of walking and two short Metro bus rides. Visit seattlecamino.org for more information.
  • Inspiration from the Popes     St. John has a number of books in the lending library written by or about some of our Popes.  Pope Francis and the New Vatican,” “On Heaven and Earth,” “Prayers and Devotions,” to name just a few.  If you are looking for something inspirational to read during Lent, take a look in the reading nook in the Vestibule of the Church or email Sheila Marty at smarty@stjohnsea.org and she can put one aside for you.
