Martin Luther King, Jr. Mass The Black Catholic Advisory Circle of the Archdiocese of Seattle in partnership with the Seattle University Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture will host a Mass celebrating the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The mass will be on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 11am at Seattle University – St. Ignatius Chapel, 901 12th Ave., Seattle. Archbishop Paul D. Etienne will preside. Haller Lake Music Series The ensemble “Play On!” returns with a concert entitled, “Tipping Point,” on January 25 at 7:30pm. This promises to be an entertaining, thought-provoking and emotionally charged evening! As always, admission is by freewill donation ($20 suggested, $5 for children and students). There will be free party food and drink at the reception following this ninety-minute program, so you can have a chance to speak with the performers personally. High School Catholic Youth Convention Sponsored by the Archdiocese of Seattle, on January 25-26, 2020 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, join young people of high school age for a weekend of encounter with Christ and empowerment in faith through formation, prayer, and fellowship. Sixteenth Annual Italian Dinner Join the Knights of Columbus and Boy Scout Troop 121 on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at 5:00pm for an evening of fun and great food. We’ll start with antipasto followed by a great Italian dinner cooked by the Knights. Great prizes in the raffle this year! Your support will help continue a longstanding tradition of St. John the Evangelist Boy Scout Troop 121, where Scouts thrive as they learn leadership and life skills, plan and carry out monthly outings including, camping, fishing, orienteering, hiking, and mountain biking.
