St. John Rosary for Those Affected by COVID-19 Join the St. John community in praying the rosary every week for all those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will pray the rosary together as a community (from our individual homes) on Saturday, 5/9, at 8pm, or you can pray at a time that works better for your family. Click here for the link to this week’s rosary, and here to download a Rosary guide.
Annual Catholic Appeal and Supporting St. John Parish This week, you will receive Archbishop Etienne’s letter inviting us to support the essential ministries and shared services of the Archdiocese through the Annual Catholic Appeal. Although we are in unprecedented times right now, the needs of the wider community continue. You will be hearing more about the ACA from Fr. Crispin in our letter and at live-stream Mass. For more information on donating to the Annual Catholic Appeal and/or St. John Parish, please visit the Parish donate page. Thank you for your continued support!
Keeping The Faith When We Can’t Be Together The number of online resources for Faith Formation can be overwhelming, and for our children already spending a lot of time on Zoom meetings or other online classes, adding more online isn’t the best answer.
Parents, you can still be a beacon of faith for your children. When they see you pray, they will want to join you. When you live-stream Mass and watch together, you are feeding the faith of your family. The Seattle Archdiocese Office of Marriage and Family Life has a website with resources to use to keep the faith at home. Click here.
Need more resources? Contact Julia Rudden at jrudden@stjohnsea.org; she is happy to help with recommendations or if your child would appreciate a hard copy, let her know. Children are thrilled to get something addressed to them in the mail!
