Summer Extended Day Care

School administration is considering the opening of Extended Day Care for a portion of the summer, following Washington State’s Phased Approach.  This program will not be our normal summer camp but a daycare for the children of essential workers who have no other means of care.  In compliance with state and licensing mandates, Summer Extended Day Care will have limited openings, with priority given to essential workers.  Additionally, Summer Extended Day Care will include the following:

  • Social distancing
  • Vigorous cleaning protocols
  • Curbside drop-off / pick-up by the same parent
  • Child health screening
  • Groups of eight children per room
  • Masks on willing / able children over the age of 2; all staff will wear masks the entire day
  • Food service will not be available; children will bring their own food and snacks
  • Children remain in one group and one area of the building while inside
  • Supplies will come from home

We will have more information when state and Archdiocesan requirements and guidelines become finalized and available.
