School Re-Opening Survey Results

Thank you to those who completed the School Re-Opening Survey.  With over 300 responses, some of the results include*:

  • 70% of the respondents are comfortable or very comfortable with a return to in-person instruction in the school building
  • Over 70% of the respondents think that School Communication was effective or highly effective during distance learning
  • The majority of respondents think that Teacher Communication was effective or highly effective during distance learning
  • The majority of respondents think that Student Workload was just right

We are reviewing the guidelines from the Office for Catholic Schools and the Department of Health about the re-opening schedule for Fall 2020.  As our Re-Opening Task Force convenes we will take into consideration the survey results to help us formulate plans that align with our commitment to academic excellence and acting for the common good.  In the meantime, administration and teachers continue to refine and strengthen the DLP.  We are thankful for our teachers and parent-teachers for pivoting so quickly to remote learning.
