Friday, March 19 is the 36th Annual St. John Auction, Rock On, St. John! We are excited to include all alumni, grandparents, and friends of St. John in this virtual event. Registration is FREE, and you will be able to bid and watch from the comfort of your home. Please share the registration link with your friends and family!
How to Watch the Pre-Show and Live Auction and Participate in Bidding
Register To Bid & Watch the Live Auction – Registering on Bidding for Good allows you to bid on both the online items and the Live items, while you watch the Virtual Live Auction. If you have not already registered, click the “Register to Bid” button at the top of the bidding page.
Watch the Live Auction! The Live Auction will be streamed through the St. John YouTube channel beginning with the Pre-Show at 6pm and the Live Auction at 7pm.
For the best experience during the live event, you will need access to two screens. We recommend watching the Live Auction from your laptop or Smart TV and using your phone to bid on items.
Registration Note: Please consider updating your “Nickname” on Bidding for Good to a first or last name. As the live auction will be using the Bidding for Good platform, it would be very helpful to know who is who as the bids fly in!
Online Silent Auction: Open Now-Sunday, March 21, 9pm. Bidding is now open on Silent Items, Class Art Projects and Buy It Now items! There are a lot of fantastic items on which to bid.
Dessert Dash: Open Now-Wednesday March 17, 9pm. Bidding is now open for those yummy cakes! Winning bidders will pick up their cake(s) at the Auction Drive-Thru at Fremont Studios on Friday, March 19 from 3-5pm.
St. John Cellar: Open Now-Friday March 19, 9pm. Don’t miss out on the amazing wine and cocktail packages now open for bidding!
Virtual Live Auction, Friday, March 19, 2021
Live Items open Wednesday, March 17 at 8am for early bidding. The auctioneer will close each live item during the live-streamed auction on March 19. Please note – there may be a short lag between the video and the bidding so do not wait until the last minute to place your bid.
- 3- 5pm – Auction Drive-Thru: Come to Fremont Studios to pick up your pre-ordered meals, desserts, VIP swag, and cocktail kits! Don’t forget to drop off your raffle tickets for the $2,500 cash drawing! See the attached map for more information on the drive-thru.
- 6pm – Auction Pre-show: Don’t miss this! There will be student performers, a slideshow, a trivia game and more!
- 7pm – Live Streamed Auction: The Live Auction will be an entertaining hour with our Auctioneer Ron Hippe and Emcee Lucas Welch, St .John parent. We have some great packages for you to bid on!
- The winner of the $2,500 Cash Prize Raffle will be drawn during the Live Auction.
Attire
Wear your Rock n’ Roll best during the live auction. Dress like your favorite rocker or show off that snooty indie band tee shirt! Take a picture and send it to jskokan@st-johnschool.org, and we will share it during the live event and on our social media. Post it to your own social media with the tag #RockOnStJohn
The school is calling upon your generous spirit to make a gift to Fund-A Need: Support for our 2021-22 operating budget. Opening our school for in-person instruction came with unanticipated costs. The unplanned expenses of operating our school during the pandemic have led to COVID-related costs totaling more than $100,000. As we have all learned, we cannot predict what the future holds. The school must remain prepared for the unanticipated realities created by the pandemic. Your support for the 2021 Fund-a-Need will help us Rock On into the new school year.
