Middle School Musical

Announcing the Middle School Musical! All of London is shouting from the rooftops for Mary Poppins Jr.! Join the Banks family as they encounter adventure after fun-filled adventure with their curious new nanny, Mary Poppins. Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes favorite Sherman brothers songs such as “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Feed the Birds,” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” as well as wonderful new songs. With colorful characters and an irresistible score, Mary Poppins Jr. is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages! 

Important Dates & Information

  • Cast: students, grades 6-8, who want to act and sing on stage
    • Auditions and Callbacks: Must attend both audition and callbacks
      • Auditions: Monday, December 13, 3:15pm. Sign up starting Monday, 12/6 on the Sign-Up Poster on the third-floor hallway at school
      • Callbacks: Tuesday, December 14, 3:15pm
    • Rehearsals: Rehearsals will start the first week of January. The cast needs to be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5:30pm at Egan Hall for rehearsals. You won’t have to come to every rehearsal, but a schedule of when you need to be there will be sent out each week. 
      • All Cast must be able to come every day (M,T,W,Th) the last two weeks before performances. 
  • Crew: students, grades 6-8, who want to work on costumes, set design, lighting and sound, etc.
    • Do not need to attend Audition or Callbacks, but must sign up on the Sign-Up Poster (available Monday, 12/6 on the third floor hallway at school)
    • Rehearsals: Crew members don’t need to be at every rehearsal but will need to come to specific ones. There might be a few weekend work parties. 
      • All Crew must be able to come every day (M,T,W,Th) the last two weeks before Performances. 
  • Performances: All Cast and Crew must be at all Performances.
    • Friday, March 18
    • Saturday, March 19
    • Sunday, March 20
  • Covid-19: Present plan is to host in-person rehearsals and performances with mitigation strategies in place. Plan, of course, subject to change.
