Parish News

Visit the Parish Website for detailed information about Mass schedules, special events, and the Parish e-newsletter. The following are highlights:

Mass Videographers Needed

We need more adult volunteers to run our new Video and Sound System during the 5pm Vigil Mass, Special Events, Funerals, and Weddings. Training is provided and scheduling is through Sign-up Genius. This rewarding ministry helps keep our homebound parishioners connected, as well as comforting those who can’t attend funerals and weddings in person. For school parents, this counts as your volunteer hours, and you get to attend mass! If you would like more information or are interested in volunteering, contact Julia Rudden at jrudden@stjohnsea.org

Coffee and DonutsWe Need Your Help!

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we are bringing back Coffee & Donuts after the 8:30am and 10:30am Masses. Beginning on May 1 we will once again come together in person in Egan Hall to share fellowship, meet new friends and re-connect with familiar faces. It’s a fun way to get involved in the Parish, and we make it super easy for you! The more people we have, the easier everything will be! Please contact Teresa Gillett at tgillett@stjohnsea.org or 206-782-2810, ext. 355 to help with this wonderful ministry! Thank you in advance for your interest.

1st Quarter Statements Coming Soon

First and foremost, thank you for your financial support of St. John Parish. We know Stewardship is an important and personal decision that is not taken lightly. Each quarter we provide giving statements to you so that you can check the accuracy of your contributions and update your contact information, if necessary. You will receive your statement via email or regular mail. Please contact Teresa Gillett at tgillett@stjohnsea.org to let us know if you would NOT like to receive your statement (if you have not done so already) and include any new or different contact information if applicable. We will continue to mail the yearly tax statements.
