Thank You, Kitchen Crew, Emerald City Hot Dogs and Dick’s Hamburgers

Together They Did…Again! Thank you to Chef Michael and the crew from Crispin’s Kitchen for serving over 54,000 school lunches this year! Chef Michael and the Kitchen Crew stir-fried veggies, cut fruit, baked cookies and helped parents make one less meal a day – THANK YOU!

We are so grateful for Chef Michael, David Benefiel, Julie Lee, Sean Laverty, Josh Stutzman, Mark Gerling, Mrs. Crockett, Margaret Golliver, Andrea Marquez, Kara Dacquisto, John Eberly, Matt Lawrence, Kari Hetcher-Aguila, Karen Bombino, Aimee LaMarche, Lauren Exnicios, Maureen Rimkus, Di Tran, Ellen McLaughlin, Glorilyn Maw and Rachel Hartwich for their many hours helping in the kitchen. A special thank you to Paul Kelley who continually adapted the program so students could continue to have delicious meals throughout the pandemic. Be sure to thank our wonderful Kitchen Crew when you see them.

Also be sure to thank Dick’s Hamburgers and Emerald City Hot Dogs for partnering with St. John to support our ministries in Kenya, Peru, Catholic Relief Services and Operation Rice Bowl. Because of these fundraising partnerships, we have raised over $7,000 to support both local and global ministries.

And a special shout out to Dick’s Hamburgers for hosting and donating tomorrow’s (Friday, 6/10) last hot lunch service day. Look for the Dick’s mobile truck on campus serving up burgers and milkshakes to our lucky students, faculty and staff – thank you, Dick’s Hamburgers!
