St. John School Jog-a-thon, presented by Springfree Trampoline
Jog-a-thon is next week! Students in PreK through 8th grade will run/walk a course on and around campus during a scheduled time from September 21-23. Parents are encouraged to come and cheer on their kids! Be sure to check out the 2022 Jog-a-thon information packet for details on scheduled jog times, prizes and more! Thank you students and parents for your participation in this fundraiser which helps support the school’s annual operating budget.
Fundraising Status
We’re off to a great start! Thank you St. John families and friends. We have raised over $48,700 toward our goal of $100,000. Jog-a-thon donations are collected through 99Pledges. You should have received an email from 99Pledges with a link to your student’s personalized page. Let’s reach our goal! Simply share your link with friends and family and make your flat or per lap donation. If you did not receive a link, you can search and find your student’s page here. Students of families with $150 or more in donations by this Friday, September 16 will be entered into another $25 Scrip raffle. Congratulations to Sophia B. for winning last week’s raffle drawing! Turn in your coupon (included in the Jog packet) to your homeroom teacher.
Prizes
- Jog-a-thon Theme Song: The class with the most donations by noon on Monday, September 19 will get to choose the 2022 Jog-a-thon Theme Song! Currently in the lead is Ms. Martin’s 4th-grade class! Who will catch up?
- Springfree Trampoline: Back again this year! For the first $200 raised per family, your family name will be added to a raffle to win a Springfree Trampoline. Your family will earn an additional raffle entry for every $50 donation beyond $200. Turn in your donations by September 30. Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Springfree Trampoline.
- Cash Grabbin’ Gecko: Families with $300 or more in donations by September 30 qualify students to participate in the popular Cash Grabbin’ Gecko game.
- Punish the Principals: Back by popular demand, the grade that raises the most money by September 30 will get to punish Principal O’Leary and Vice Principal Kelley with (hundreds!) of water balloons. Fourth grade is in the lead, followed by Kindergarten and grade 8!
- Preschool: The top preschool fundraiser will be awarded a gift card donated by Snapdoodle Toys & Games! The top runner within the preschool AM/PM preschool classes will also receive an award.
- Free Dress Day for the school if we meet our goal of $100,000 by September 30.
- NEW THIS YEAR: If we meet our goal of $100,000, ALL families will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate donated by Super Jock ‘n Jill!

T-shirts will be sent home this week. Students, color your shirts and prepare to dress crazy for your Jog-a-thon day!
