Greenwood Scouts: Join Scouting at Any Time!

We have been getting outdoors, making news friends and having fun for over 86 years! Scouting is now open to all genders so that families can enjoy scouting together. If you think your child (K-5) might be interested, please attend our next pack meeting on Wednesday, October 5, 6:30-7:30 pm, at Egan Hall (123 N. 79th St.). If your child is in 6th grade or older, please come to one of the weekly troop meetings, which occur every Monday at 7:15pm in the mezzanine of Egan Hall. Contact Alan Byars or check out GreenwoodScouts.com for more details.

St. James Cathedral Youth Music Program

Do you have a child who loves to sing or wants to learn? Choral singing is not just about music – it builds social skills, community, friendships, and cooperation in addition to making music to the glory of God. St. James is proud to be home to a renowned youth music program.

  • The Seraphim Choir, a training choir for children grades 1–3, allows younger singers to gain valuable musicianship skills while being mentored by older peers.
  • The Schola Cantorum choir, for girls and boys grades 3–8, provides musical and liturgical training for young people at St. James and throughout the Seattle Archdiocese.

More information, including registration, can be found on the Youth Music Program page.
