Greenwood Neighborhood Town Hall Safety Meeting

Neighbors and businesses in the 85th St. area of Greenwood have come together to organize a Town Hall Meeting to speak about recent area safety concerns, increased crime, the influx of unhoused neighbors who have established encampments, and appropriate actions to take. Organizers include the Taproot Theatre, Piper Village and Fred Meyer. Attendees include:

  • State Representative Noel Frame
  • D6 City Councilmember Dan Strauss
  • Josh Castle, Director of Community Engagement for Low Income Housing Institute
  • Reverend Bill Kirlin Hackett, Director of The Interfaith Task Force on Homelessness
  • Representatives from the SPD North Precinct
