The Soup Supper was a Great One!

Thank you to all of you who came to the final Soup Supper last Friday night! Everyone had a nice time visiting and sharing a meal with Fr. Crispin and fellow parishioners from this amazing community. As we heard in the prayer that Fr. Crispin led on Friday night: “We thank and praise you for your gift to us of faith; faith that guides us, nourishes us and sustains us. We thank you for the gift of the Season of Lent, which invites us to go deeper into prayer, into reflection and into gratitude for the greatest gift of all: our Lord, your son Jesus Christ.” May each one of you have a blessed last week of Lent and find time in Holy Week to reflect on your Lenten journey this year.

Wine & Cheese with Fr. Crispin after 5pm Mass this Week!

Let the dry bones come back to life this Lent! As we continue to meet after the 5pm Vigil Mass on Saturdays, please join Fr. Crispin this week, along with other parishioners in the Parish Admin Building for discussion and social time. In Father’s last homily he spoke from Ezekiel: “Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!” Have you experienced “dry bones” times in your life? How did God help you hear his words and bring you back to life? Or you are still struggling? Let’s talk! Parents’ Night Out!

Calling all parents of children ages 3-11: Enjoy a night out after going to Mass with your kids! On Saturday, April 29, drop your kids in Quigley (XDC) after the 5pm Mass to be cared for by parents and Bishop Blanchet and Prep volunteers while you have a night out in the neighborhood. Mass will be kid-focused, so seat your family up towards the front so they can see and hear. Parents are required to attend mass with their children. We will have pizza for dinner and are accepting free-will donations at the door or by Venmo @StJohntheEvangelist-Seattle. Please use the memo “PNO Apr” in Venmo. There is limited capacity, so sign up soon for this event; include children’s names, ages and your contact number for the night of the event. Pick-up time is 8:30pm

Click here to volunteer for this event. If you have a high school student collecting volunteer hours there are 6 slots available for students.
