On-Campus Vaccination Clinic Registration and Volunteer Sign Up – Friday, October 6
St. John is once again partnering with Safeway Pharmacy and offering an optional vaccination clinic for students on campus on Friday, October 6, during the school day. Registration is now open for this optional vaccine clinic. The newly approved updated COVID vaccine* and the flu vaccine will be offered. The deadline to sign up is Monday, October 2.
*As of 9/21/23, due to supply issues, Safeway pharmacy only has the updated COVID vaccine available for students ages 12 and older; however, this may change any day. We recommend that you sign up your child for the updated COVID vaccine as though it will be available for students ages 5 and older on our clinic day (10/6), and we will provide updates as we get them. The updated COVID vaccine will not be available for children under the age of 5 at this school vaccine clinic. The flu vaccine will be available for all ages.
For more information about the updated COVID vaccine, please see this CDC website.
Volunteers Needed: We need volunteers to support the students and the vaccine clinic throughout the day on Friday, October 6. We have created various roles but may shift things around depending on the needs throughout the day. Please sign up to help the clinic run smoothly!
COVID-19 Update
The school is seeing a decrease in COVID-19 positive cases this week compared to last week. Please continue to monitor the COVID Data Dashboard for real-time updates regarding COVID cases at school. The school will continue to monitor positive cases throughout the school.
Rapid Test Kits: The school received a large shipment of COVID test kits that are available to families. Test kits can be picked up from Mrs. Q. in the main office.
