2024 Stewardship Renewal Drive & State of the Parish

Thank you to all who participated in last weekend’s kickoff of the 2024 Annual Stewardship Renewal Drive and State of the Parish! Some of you have already answered the call by turning in your pledge cards or pledging online. Many have also “stepped up” by increasing their pledge for 2024. Every gift makes a difference and every dollar counts. All Parish families will be receiving their stewardship renewal letter and pledge card from Fr. Crispin in the mail soon. We ask that you prayerfully consider your stewardship commitment for the coming year, and that if you are able to increase your gift – by $3.00 per week – it will help us meet the continuing financial needs of our Parish.

For the first time since 2019, the State of the Parish was in person at the 10:30am Mass. It was great to see so many St. John parishioners in the Church! If you were unable to attend, a video of the presentation is now available here. This video shows our financial picture and highlights the great things you have helped St. John accomplish in the last year.

School Families: One of the criteria to remain eligible for Parish Fair Share Tuition is by attending the State of the Parish in person or by watching the recording.

Confirmation Registration is Open!

Our confirmation program at St. John is for those baptized Catholic in grades 7 and up. We will start our classes in person on November 12 with Confirmation scheduled for February 2024. Register here.

Wine & Cheese with Fr. Crispin on Saturday, November 4!

Join Fr. Crispin after the 5pm Mass this Saturday, November 4 for Wine, Cheese and Conversation in the Parish Admin Building. This is a great opportunity to spend time chatting with Fr. Crispin and other members of our community. See you there!

Children’s Clergy of the Word and Sunday School

Children’s Liturgy of the Word and Sunday School are starting back up, and we need volunteers! New this year, Sunday School will be part of CLOW with all children (ages 4-10) getting dismissed from the 10:30am mass simultaneously and then returning for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. We are looking for people who would help out with either group. Please contact Daniel Pelfrey at CEFF@stjohnsea.org.
