Parish Community Events

Friday Night Lenten Soup Supper

Soup Supper success. Thanks to all who came to the first of two Soup Suppers last Friday night. We had a group of 25-30 people who came together to enjoy the great community of St. John Parish! Some began the evening with Stations of the Cross in the Church led by the Social Justice Group and others came to Egan Hall, where two of our St. John students led us in prayer before the meal. Fr. Crispin was in attendance as well, which is always wonderful.

Thanks to the following who helped make the evening work: Anna & Maggie Redmond, Richard and Patrice Holmberg, The Pelfrey Family, The Exnicios Family, Diana Grusczynski and Jim Russell. Please accept apologies if we have forgotten anyone.

See you at our next Soup Supper on Friday, March 22 at 6:30pm in Egan Hall (with Stations of the Cross at 6pm in the Church). Please contact Teresa Gillett at tgillett@stjohnsea.org if you are interested in helping or have questions.

Faith Sharing Groups

Faith-sharing groups are back. With Lent just around the corner, this is a great time to reflect on your faith with others, share ideas, personal revelations, and enjoy a little bit of fellowship. Meetings will take place once a week. All are welcome for part or all of Lent. Please see the signup for details including days and locations, or call the Parish Office, 206-782-2810.
