Book Drive for Mary’s Place

The Library Service Club elective is running a book drive for Mary’s Place. The drive will be held from February 21 to March 13. If you can, please bring gently used books for children ages 0-18. You may drop them off in the bins in the hallway or bring them to Mrs. Longton in the library. The books will then be delivered to Mary’s Place at the conclusion of the book drive.

A Fête for Principal O’Leary, May 19: Come say ‘Thank You’ to Principal O’Leary for her 13 years of service to St. John and +40 years of service to Catholic education. Mass will start at 10:30am with a reception to follow. Let’s shower her with love and give her a memorable send-off! RSVP information will be available soon.

A Jubilee for Father Crispin, June 30: Ordained in 1990, Father Crispin has served in the priesthood for 34 years, half of which have been at St. John. Please join us as we express our gratitude for his dedication and wish him the best in his next tenure. Mass followed by celebration. More information to follow.

To properly celebrate our school and honor Principal O’Leary and Father Crispin, who were instrumental in shaping our generous, robust and welcoming community, we will take a hiatus from this year’s end-of-the-year, School’s Out, Grill’s Out BBQ. We warmly invite you to the Auction and celebrations for Principal O’Leary and Father Crispin. Let’s give thanks to our community and the leaders who make it so special!


Art Summer Camps with Ms. Kay

Join Ms. Kay for Art Camps this summer! Explore various media and unleash your creative spirit! Ms. Kay will host two sessions: morning and afternoon.

Details:

  • Ages 6-12
  • Dates: June 17, 18, 20 & 21 (no class June 19)
  • Students signed up for both sessions will stay with Ms. Kay for lunch and should pack cold lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
  • Fee: $305. Refunds will not be issued after 05/15/24, and fees will not be prorated if the student registers after classes start, stops instruction before the end of the program, or misses class for illness, sports, trips, etc.

Lego Summer Camps, 2024

St. John will host two Play-Well TEKnologies LEGO® Summer Camps this year, June 17, 18, 20 & 21 (No Class on June 19). Fee: $125. Financial aid is available; please contact Andrea Marquez, amarquez@st-johnschool.org. Note: Registration fees will not be refunded after 05/15/24.
