Bake Sale Fundraiser for Mary’s Place, May 23, 3-3:30pm

In 2024, the 7th graders of St. John School learned how to carry out Catholic Social teachings. One big project that we are doing this year is a service fundraiser, where all proceeds will go to Mary’s Place. Mary’s Place is a nonprofit that provides service to anyone in Seattle who struggles with housing insecurity. They let people stay at their building, serve meals, give medical care to those who need it, and can even help people move into homes. We will be going to Mary’s Place on May 15 to volunteer.

Recently, Mary’s Place started a fundraiser called Dream Big, where whenever someone donates money, a large corporation, like Amazon, will double their donation. This year, the 7th graders are asking for your help! We will hold a Bake Sale Fundraiser on May 23, where you will be able to purchase baked goods on the blacktop after school.
