Auction – Join Our Crew!

Thank you to everyone who has turned in procurement items! So many exciting items have already been donated, and we can’t wait to see what the new year brings! We are looking for volunteers who would love to join our crew. There are many opportunities to volunteer, but here are a few roles we seek right now:

  • Auction Chairs (shadow): this is the current co-chairs’ final auction. We’d love to have someone(s) shadow them this year to be ready to take the helm next year. 
  • Raffle Coordinator (shadow): like our chairs, our raffle coordinator will be graduating from St. John at the end of the year. This role mostly handles work in the weeks before the event, and the day of the auction. 
  • Procurement Committee: we have an experienced set of deckhands who help to ensure a magical collection of items for the auction catalog. This role can be done on your own time, often by email or by visiting local businesses. 
  • Volunteer Coordinator: with a large crew needed for an event of this size, having a point person to assist with scheduling and communication is very helpful. This role involves Sign Up Genius work, some minor spreadsheet work, and lots of email. 
  • Item Photographer: we need to make our auction items look good, and we’re seeking a photographer with the necessary skills and equipment to help us do this. This work would occur in the spring.
