Summer Art Camps with Ms. Kay

Join Ms. Kay for Art Camps this summer! Explore various media and unleash your creative spirit! Ms. Kay will host two sessions: morning and afternoon.

Details:

  • Ages 6-11
  • Dates: June 16-18 (Monday-Wednesday)
  • Space is limited.
  • All premium art supplies are included. Please have children wear art-friendly clothing and pack a snack and a water bottle.
  • Students signed up for both sessions will stay with Ms. Kay for lunch and should pack cold lunch, snacks and a water bottle.

Summer Art Camp, Morning Session

Mixed Media Explorations: Impressionism – in this 3-day art camp, students will explore the vibrant and expressive styles of Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Edgar Degas. From painting shimmering water lilies to capturing the movement of ballet dancers, students will discover the magic of impressionism while developing their artistic skills. A perfect camp for young creatives who love painting and self-expression, students will create with watercolors, acrylics, gouache, mold air-dry clay, and experiment with diverse techniques and take home two unique, frame-worthy masterpieces!

  • Time: 9am-12:30pm
  • Fee: $273. Refunds will not be issued after 05/01/25, and fees will not be prorated if the student registers after classes start, stops instruction before the end of the program, or misses class for illness, sports, trips, etc.
    • Financial aid is available. To request financial assistance for clubs, complete the attached form and return it to Andrea Marquez, amarquez@st-johnschool.org. Please note, all applicants requesting financial aid must complete the club registration, which requires payment upfront. Summer Art Camp, Afternoon Session

Under the Sea Adventures – dive into a world of creativity in this 3-day art camp where students will explore the magical underwater world through fun and hands-on art projects. Students will explore unique fish designs, creating a paper mache fish and sculpting fantastical sea creatures using clay, plasters, acrylics, gouache, and more! Students will take home two cherished keepsakes.
