It’s Rice Bowl Collection Time!
Thanks to everyone who collected money for the Rice Bowl this year. If you haven’t turned in your Rice Bowl, please do so by Monday, May 5. You can drop off your coins, cash, or check at the Parish Office during the week or at Mass on the weekend. Please call the Parish Office at 206-782-2810 with any questions. Thank you for your support of this important program that helps so many.
It’s That Time! Please Support the 2025 Annual Catholic Appeal!
You should have received the letter from Archbishop Etienne this week inviting us to generously support the more than 60 essential ministries and shared services of the Archdiocese through the ACA. We look forward to having St. John parishioner and school parent, Joe Sullivan, share his personal story about why he and his family support the ACA each year at all the Masses on May 3 & 4.
St. John’s goal this year is $97,114 – almost $7,000 higher than last year. Therefore, we need everyone to participate, at whatever amount you are able. Once we reach our goal, all funds collected will come back to St. John Parish. This year, the first $10,000 of our rebate will once again go into our Operating Budget to support unplanned but necessary maintenance needs. The rest of the rebate will be earmarked towards the cost of an exciting project on the outside of our Church where we plan to install new lighting along N 80th St. and 1st Ave. NW to illuminate our building, which will create a welcoming and inviting environment for all.
Please prayerfully consider how you can participate in helping our parish be a light to others. The quickest and easiest way to donate is to give online. Click here to give now.
