Join the Team

We’re still looking to fill many PA roles for each grade. Please consider signing up. This is a great way to get involved in the St. John community. Thank you to those who have already stepped up to support your grade. Please spread the word to encourage other parents in your class to sign up. We would love to have you as part of the PA team!

PA Kick-Off Meeting

Join us tomorrow, Friday, September 5, in Egan Hall at 8:30am for our first meeting of the year. Come grab a coffee or tea and learn about the PA’s plans for the year. All parents and caregivers are welcome!

Agenda:

  • Meet the PA leadership team
  • Hear updates from the St. John Admin team
  • Discuss grade-level PA roles
  • Learn how you can get involved – we’ll answer all your questions about grade-level roles.

Back to School BBQ

It’s time to celebrate the start of the school year at the Back to School BBQ! Join us tomorrow night, Friday, September 5, from 6-9pm. This annual event is a great way to reconnect and meet new friends in the St. John community. Enjoy delicious food and fun activities for the whole family!

Volunteers are needed! The PA needs many hands to help make the evening fun and successful. We still need help with setup, event logistics, and play pit and activities support. Remember, there are opportunities available for middle and high school students. Let’s make sure we can offer all the fun activities by having enough volunteers to support them!

New this year – All those who sign up to volunteer in support of the BBQ will be entered into a raffle! Don’t miss your chance to win. 

Things to note for the evening:

  • Help check-in move quickly by using one of our two entrances – in the courtyard near Quigley and at the flagpole on 79th St. 
  • Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for communal seating. 
  • Please supervise your children throughout the night. Teachers are not on duty at time! This is a large community event, and we expect over 900 people to attend.

You won’t want to miss out on this fun event. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
