Volunteers Needed!

Middle School Robotics Elective Assistant Volunteer

The middle school electives program is in need of a parent who is able to assist 6th-grade parent John Eberly co-teach the weekly robotics elective. Students in this elective (grades 6-8) build and program Lego robots to complete simple challenges over the course of a 12-week trimester. The class meets from 2-3pm every Wednesday. If you are interested, and we hope that you are, please contact science teacher Sven Tice at stice@st-johnschool.org

Volunteer in the Kitchen

St. John is able to provide affordable and high-quality meals due largely to the support of our volunteers. A Food Workers card is required to work in the lunchroom. Interested in volunteering with the lunch program? Contact David Benefiel, dbenefiel@st-johnschool.org.

Lunch Recess Volunteers

Our school community is still looking for Lunch Recess Volunteers, especially for Mondays and Tuesdays. Our Recess Volunteers support our teachers during their lunch break and our students during lunch recess. It’s a wonderful way to earn your volunteer hours. Thanks to everyone who signed up for this year’s crew!

The recess shift runs from 11:05am- 12:20pm. Subs are also very much needed if you can’t swing weekly volunteering. Our lunch recess relies on volunteers, and your help is critical!

Please reach out to Malen Musgrave at mmusgrave@st-johnschool.org to volunteer or if you have questions.
