There is still time to sign up for the 11/14 optional On Campus Vaccination Clinic. The flu vaccine and the COVID vaccine for ages 6 months and up will be available.
We are still looking for a few more volunteers to help with the vaccine clinic – sign up here.
As a reminder: children who have state-sponsored insurance plans will NOT be able to participate in our vaccine clinic. Per Safeway: “If a child has a state-sponsored insurance plan, such as Medicaid, Apple Care, or Molina, we are not able to bill those plans for the vaccinations. This is a restriction that applies to all retail pharmacies, and it is unfortunately out of our control.” Safeway recommends that these students schedule their flu and Covid vaccines with their primary care provider.
To register:
- Registration (including consent) will be completed through Safeway’s online registration link: https://www.safeway.com/vaccinations/group-clinic/StJohnSchool11142025, or access the QR code to register.
- Registration will require choosing a time for vaccination; however, the student clinic schedule will be created by the school so any time can be chosen in the online link.
- Students receiving either the flu and/or COVID vaccine MUST bring a copy of their insurance card to the clinic. Students will not be able to receive vaccines without insurance information.
- The deadline to register is Monday, November 10 at 9:00am. Late registrations will not be accepted.
