Counselor’s Corner, March 2026

Happy March! As we head toward spring, we’re continuing to focus on building strong social-emotional skills that help students feel confident, connected, and ready to learn.

Spring SEL Small Groups will be starting soon! SEL groups are a key support offered for students in K-5th grades. Groups focus on a variety of skills, including emotional regulation and coping skills, friendship and social skills, and executive functioning skills related to academic success. These small groups are a great opportunity for students to build skills in a supportive, small setting. Groups typically meet once a week for 8-9 weeks during the school day. Please fill out this form, Spring SEL Group Registration, by Friday, March 13, if you would like your child to participate in a group.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to Ms. Manley at smanley@st-johnschool.org with questions or concerns.
